Laelia Tequila

With tahona crushed agave, natural fermentation, and mineral rich mountain spring water, Laelia creates its tequila using time-honored, old-world methods on land where tequila was first made. Working with Casa Natima, Weholden named the brand, developed a custom bottle and packaging that juxtaposes pre-Columbian and contemporary worlds, and created a brand world driven by surrealist imagery and content inspired by the Nahuatl phrase for “Flower Song”—comprised of dance, music, and poetry that celebrated the fleeting and ethereal beauty of the natural world.
